8 of pentacles- Put in the work. 

So today I recieved the 8 of pentacles. I actually really love the energy of the 8 of pentacles. It just goes well with my can do, creative and if I fall get back up again spirit. This card also reflects progression, working hard, putting in the efforts, and putting to use your skills and talents. I thought to myself oh yes! A great day to get some things done. The 8 reflects manifestation and the pentacles reflects money and values. This card is also connected to the energy of the Sun and Virgo. The sun reflects positivity, clarity, light, power and vitality while Virgo reflects work, details, health and every day life. 

I knew I already had some work to finish up on but I also felt that I would be made aware of what hard work and efforts brings within this day. Not just in regards to my work but also my health and my family! The things I value more than money!

Just out of curiosity I decided to pull from my little golden jar of random phrases to see what would come forward. I asked to know more about this 8 of pentacles type of day- I recieved- Move right through fears cause the only way to get burned is to stop because your scared, and have patience ( interesting because patience is also a 8 of pentacles type of trait), willingness( sure enough the willingness to keep going, to create, to exude), validate your choices( in other words you know what you want, act like it and act on it, it's already yours, it's already here), respect and value ( your) self, ( in other words dont wait on anyone else to show you, your worth and that you matter, hold your head up and value your own self, and nurture self, ( hello!!! self love!!! cause you are definitely the bomb!!), Go for it ( believe in yourself), Celebrate( celebrate and recognize your wins, no matter how small), and Travel (I actually took this to mean, get ready to see more progress, more change, and more movement forward!!).

 The question is often asked and often imposed. How valuable would you truly be if you had no money? And that question really made me think today. I have seen this type of question many times before that money doesn't make you, that you are more than just your wealth and so on. I feel like today I finally found the answer that sits well with my soul and makes sense to me. In order to truly understand this question and belief...it would only be valid if you surround yourself with people who truly and honestly don't care about your money or possessions. With people who are able to see the value in who you are wether you are rich or poor. It doesn't really matter to think it about yourself- unless it in fact DOES MATTER TO YOU! Because at the end of the day. We live in a world in which money will always be needed and wanted.  The Wheel of Fortune- Oh snap a Major Arcana type of day! The Wheel of Fortune is associated with the energy of Jupiter and Sagittarius. Naturally Sagittarius/Jupiter rules the 9th house of philosophies, higher learning, spiritual wisdom, and long distance travels. So my first thought was ok. This is about the energy of Sagittarius which reflects freedoms, goals, achievements and for me is connected to my 2nd house of finance while Jupiter is connected to my 11th house of networking, friends, associates, and groups.
