         4 of cups. What's really up?


Mind you divination is not just about Tarot. There are many ways to divine. Yes indeed. So there are times in which I will write about the other methods and tools as well. Tarot is just ONE of the MANY divination tools in this world. I actually first started with cartomancy and then graduated to tarot. But that's a story for another time. 


On this day I pulled the 4 of cups. Now I'm well aware that the 4 of cups can represent boredom however I knew that I had a full day ahead of me and boredom was definitely not going to be on the menu! Lol! 


The 4 of cups can also represent an opportunity. Now I could have pulled a few more cards to see what this opportunity was about but I decided to just let my day play out and see where this leads. Contrary to popular belief opportunities are not just about something tangible being given to you. Sometimes opportunities represent things as simple as taking an opportunity to rest, taking an opportunity to phone a friend, taking an opportunity to reflect; And as simple as it seems can in turn lead to something needed, significant or substantial.  


Today I realized that the opportunity for me was in taking the time to realize what I have in front of me. That I truly have everything I need. Just blessed! I had alot to do, sure, I was almost overwhelmed- but wow I'll take that over nothing at all anyday. Today represented an opportunity for gratitude an opportunity to be grateful!! Is my life perfect?..no..but am I exactly where I need to be in this journey called life? Yes indeed! Often the 4 of cups depicts an individual resting near a tree, a spirit hand is holding a cup towards that persons direction, most times the individual is too busy looking at 3 cups they already have in front of them..I assume contemplating or assuming there is nothing more- wondering ok what now? I always assume the individual does feel the spirit hand and looks up and sees the new cup. I always imagine them reaching there hands out and taking what was missing. 


Amongst all the chores and responsibilities of this day...Did I do something new today? As a matter of fact. I did. I started this new blog!! Welcome.

 The question is often asked and often imposed. How valuable would you truly be if you had no money? And that question really made me think today. I have seen this type of question many times before that money doesn't make you, that you are more than just your wealth and so on. I feel like today I finally found the answer that sits well with my soul and makes sense to me. In order to truly understand this question and belief...it would only be valid if you surround yourself with people who truly and honestly don't care about your money or possessions. With people who are able to see the value in who you are wether you are rich or poor. It doesn't really matter to think it about yourself- unless it in fact DOES MATTER TO YOU! Because at the end of the day. We live in a world in which money will always be needed and wanted.  The Wheel of Fortune- Oh snap a Major Arcana type of day! The Wheel of Fortune is associated with the energy of Jupiter and Sagittarius. Naturally Sagittarius/Jupiter rules the 9th house of philosophies, higher learning, spiritual wisdom, and long distance travels. So my first thought was ok. This is about the energy of Sagittarius which reflects freedoms, goals, achievements and for me is connected to my 2nd house of finance while Jupiter is connected to my 11th house of networking, friends, associates, and groups.
